TWO: Providing Data to Others

THREE: International Transfer of Data

SEVEN: Definition of Cookies

• 7.1) A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.
• 7.2) Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

EIGHT: Cookies on our Website

• 8.1) We use third-party cookies (Google Analytics; MailChimp) to identify you when you visit our website and as you navigate our website; to allow you to consent to receiving marketing and email newsletters from the website; and to help us to analyse the use and performance of our website and services.
• 8.2) We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics gathers information about website use by means of cookies. The information gathered relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of our website. • 8.3) We use MailChimp software to enable visitors to sign up to our newsletter from our website. MailChimp uses cookies to collect the name and email address of any given visitor who provides their details in relation to signing up to the newsletter. The cookie transmits this information to MailChimp for inclusion onto our marketing. More information about this cookie can be given on request.
