Speciality Plywood is manufactured from multiple thin layers of wood veneer. They are bonded together with heat and resin, with each veneer perpendicular to the next. This cross grain construction gives plywood its strength and durability.
Alongside our sister company, we stock specialist plywood products from across Europe and North America. This includes in raw face grades, phenolic coatings and decorative surfaces. This includes products such as Riga Lac (Clear Lacquered); Riga Mel (Melamine Faced); Riga Prime (Ready to Paint); and Riga Tex/Heksa (Slip-Resistant for Flooring). There are also speciality plywood products that come with highly decorative veneer faces. This includes Clear Faced Douglas Fir Plywood and Birch Faced Poplar Plywood.
