This genuine Canadian plywood has a one piece rotary cut face veneer, which gives it a wild & pronounced looking grain. The sapwood is narrow and light in colour, whilst the wider heartwood ranges from warm yellow to dark brown tones. The banding in the grain is darker, giving Douglas Fir its distinctive colour and appearance when rotary peeled.
Douglas Fir Plywood is widely used as wall panels, cladding, and in high-end joinery. The high grade veneer face is suitable for all types of finishing; and can be either lacquered or oiled to further enhance the appearance.
